1990
The Beginning
Martin Williams set up an accident repair shop in Hull with his wife Trish
1995
Going Commercial
A purpose built workshop in Hull is established to accommodate commercial customers and expand the business.
2003
Passing The Torch
Martin’s sons, Nick and Chris join the board of directors as the business becomes a limited company.
2005
The Big Expansion
The business moves to current site in Burstwick and new workshop is built with first class facilities and significant space to support future growth.
2013
Doubling Up!
The workshop space is doubled to accommodate Repair, Build, Paint and Maintenance divisions. The company acquires Renacraft, an engineering specialist in offshore oil & gas sectors.
2014
Paint The Town Blue
Two of Europe’s largest spray booths are installed, and the company wins the coveted Commercial Vehicle Bodyshop of the Year Award.
2015
25 Years
Martin Williams celebrates its 25th anniversary. The company now employs over 100 people on its main site in Burstwick and ventures into offering a wide range of specialist vehicle conversions, including prison vans and the supply and fit of vehicle mounted cranes.
2018
All Wrapped Up
MW Graphics is established to provide an in-house vinyl graphics design and installation service to our growing portfolio of clients.
2020
Across The Border
MW Scotland depot in Dumfries is acquired and goes live to support and expand Hull's body build capabilities.
2022
It's a Deal!
MW Vehicle Solutions is founded and provides vehicle sourcing for new and used commercial businesses.
2026
Becoming A Family
MW Campbells and MW Hogarth both join Martin Williams.

As 2 more businesses become family, Martin Williams looks to tie in all the branding for the 6 businesses under it's umbrella.
The Hull Site
With a 77,000sq ft. state of the art facility over 7 acres accommodating body build, paint, repair and maintenance, MW Hull is a powerhouse of industry.

Between this site and MW Scotland we can turn out over 1000 vehicles a year.
